I am Dr. Anne-Sophie Ceuppens, graduated from KU Leuven in Medicine in 2016. In 2022, I obtained my degree in Cardiology from the same university after having worked in various hospitals across Flanders (AZ Damiaan in Ostend, AZ Sint-Lucas Bruges, AZ Sint-Lucas Ghent, ZOL Genk and UZ Leuven). Driven by my passion for heart rhythm disorders, I further specialized in electrophysiology and arrhythmology at UCL St-Luc.
During my subspecialty training in St Luc, I gained extensive experience in performing electrophysiological studies, conducting ablation procedures for rhythm disorders, and implanting and following up on pacemakers. During this period, I also had the unique opportunity to participate in an international program, where I received valuable theoretical insights from renowned professors from around the world. This combination of practical experience and academic knowledge enables me to treat patients with complex heart rhythm disorders in the best possible way.
As a perfect trilingual (Dutch, French, English), I am able to guide and support patients in their native language, ensuring a personal and accessible approach. With my practice, I aim to bring my expertise in cardiology, and more specifically in rhythm disorders, closer to the patient, where the needs and concerns of my patient are the primary focus.
I maintain a close collaboration with UCL St Luc for the performance of electrophysiological studies and ablations, and with Clinique St Pierre Ottignies for pacemaker implantations.
